135g  rolled oats

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

100g caster sugar.  

45g chocolate chips

2 tbsp oil or melted butter.

2-3 tbsp milk .


Preheat oven to 190°C Fan.

Blend the first 4 ingredients together in a food processor or blender. Alternatively mix together by hand in a med bowl.

Mix with remaining ingredients to form a dough. If feeling too dry, slowly add a little more milk.

Roll or form the mixture into 10 balls, and place on a greased baking tray. Press down a little to flatten.

Cook 6 minutes, then take out when still feeling a bit soft. Let sit 10 minutes before handling, and they firm up.

N.B. Makes a small amount, so feel free to double the recipe!
